Why should I collect Chips? and Why should I join the CC&GTCC? are two different questions. There are plenty of reasons for the first, but paramount should be because you enjoy collecting casino chips. Don’t think of it as an investment. There's really only one reason for the second, as you've already pointed out, which is to get the magazine. In talking with potential new hobbyists you only need to show them your collection and tell them a few stories, then they either get it or they don’t. We need more casino chip collectors reaching out to more potential hobbyists to grow interest in our hobby. Then if they want to pay $10 annually for the magazine, they can do that too. Everybody’s happy in the end.
