I stopped by at the Rio this afternoon to see if there was anything noteable this year- Was barely surprised at the COMPLETE lack of any sponsorship by Full Tilt, Pokerstars, Ultimate Bet or really any other site for that matter. Doesn't seem to have had too much affect on players.

Two completely full main halls, and a visually striking final table arena- looked like a rock concert. Pic shows two of the final four players in event #2(?) heads up championship- 128 entrants paid $25,000 buy-in.

New 2011 WSOP slot card available only at temporary Total Rewards counter at back of hotel outside tournament rooms. Bad scan on the card- doesnt have a checkerboard pattern, but light contrast hearts, diamonds, spades etc.
