For your viewing pleasure !!!
A friend of mine Dean Macris - a big Caesars A C collector asked me to send him a scan of the Caesars A C Chipco experimental sample $2 chockens shown below.
These chokens are so unusual that I decided to post them here for everyone to see.
The one on the left has a metal rim and the back has a "waffle" style pattern on the metal surface. This token shows the obverse design (chariot). This chocken is also blurred, probably a production problem.
The one in the middle also shows the obverse design (chariot) and is made of a "ceramic" material and the reverse has the Chipco logo with large stacks of chops.
The choken on the right has the reverse design ($2) and is also made of a ceramic material. The back of this chocken has the Chipco Windham, Maine address and a smaller stack of chips.
I got these chokens ovder 10 years ago and I have never seen any others of them.
Does anyone else have any of these chokens ?? Have you ever seen a 2 sided version of this chocken ??
Thanks for looking.
Take care,
Jerry
