Fred, A hop bet is a one roll bet on a craps table. The bet pays 15 to 1 on unlike numbers and 30 to 1 on pairs. Example: you call 3/4 hopping and it comes 3/4 you get 15 to 1. Example: you call 5/5 hopping and it comes you get 30 to 1. The Richochet game also had one roll hop bets that were placed using the hop side of the chip. I don't remember all of the rules, I do remember the buy was like roulette with assigned value and each player getting his own chip color. Hope this helps. Jim
