The first chip event I attended was a Floridian Casino Chip & Gaming Token Collector's Club meeting at Fred & Geri Hempel's home in Tampa. My wife and I didn't know anyone when we arrived but everyone was very welcoming and we made lots of friends. Recently, I was asked by Mark and Ellen if I wanted to step up and help out with the FL Club. I’m newer to the hobby but I do I have a lot of energy, so I told them “I was happy to do what I can”. The Florida Club is having our meeting/trade session during the CC>CC convention (June 25th 11am). Everyone is invited to stop in and say hi. Yearly dues for the FL club are only $10 and you get a FL collector's club chip with joining. Check us out! You don’t have to live in Florida to be a member.
