Try the Miami Herald. They should be able to point you in the right direction; historians, authors and collectors of Cuban material.
Also, the South Florida Historical Museum Library is a great place to find lots of original "Miami News" press photos during the action-days; but I caution anyone viewing such material as it's very graphic.
