Ralph, I highly recommend using the free picture size reducing program Multipe Image Reducer (MIR). You can set what percentage to reduce it (them) to, or make it an exact size etc. You can also do an entir3e folder full of photos all at the same time.

It's quick and easy to learn ...much easier then Photoshop)...and best of all it's free.
