(Subs, actually) While out in the field past weekend, several boxes of the "RRF" chips were being offered at an auction house down south, but these were in as poor condition; if not worse, than the find some 20 years ago. The tunneling material not only ran under and along the side of the boxes, but actually well up into the hotstamp; chip after chip -- row after row... which could have been carried/pushed up by water... as the woman said they were in a low-elevation carport storage area.
Whatever the "RRF" operation was, it must have been big; the woman remembers at least 15 boxes... and that's not even counting the boxes I found years ago.
Another buyer took them to build a poker chip set.
They were the red chips, only.
Also being offered were the white w/ red $1 Hollywood Club chips in what looked to be "NEW" condition; except they were in the same dried-out-snap-in-two condition as the boxes I offered in the past; good for display, only, and nothing more. Funny, so new-looking with razor-sharp edges, too... but useless!
