McCullough CJ H&C Any Info???

Thank you James.
We have done all we can to put a name or place to this chip.
Hoping it will ring a bell with one of you old timers.
If I had an address, full name, or even a state, I think we could place it.

I had the Paulson and Christy Jones records searched and came up with NADA!!
For you new timers Christy Jones, Kansas City sold the CJ Shiny hat mold from 1955 to 1964.
If you don't know how to tell a CJ from a Paulson, look closely, tilt it, and if the shine from the bottom of the hats don't blind you its a Paulson. grin

Paulson took over the mold in 1964 when Bill Christy and Bud Jones broke up.
Paulson had new H&C molds made without the shine but kept on selling the shiny hat until the mold wore out. Burt Co (where the chips were made) spokesman told me Paulson actually sold more shiny hats than CJ ever did.

CJ records exist, but like the Paulson records or any of the old distributors records we have, sh*t happens, records get misfiled, lost, or destroyed.
Without history, they are only little pieces of clay.
