Well maybe results is too strong a word. I went to the University of Memphis this week on our way to Tunica to investigate if Rich's MJC C&S chip is from the Memphis Jockey Club. All I was able to find was some 1860-1890 newspaper ads which were mainly for the annual meetings. The only logo on these ads was of a set of running horses. I also saw an original tout sheet from 1888 for the club showing that days races. (Who keeps a daily race form for 120 Years???) That also had the horse log on it. Thus I can not prove that the MJC chip is from Memphis but I also can not prove that it is not. I will keep checking to see if any more info is available.
