John, sadly there is nothing you're going to be able to do to get the colors correct. That particular scanner will just not show them correctly.

It took me ages to find a scanner that would scan true colors and flouro colors. Epson Photosmart scanners are the way to go. Even their cheapest model picks up all the colors most others dont.
