Inlaid Chip Question?
The inlaid chips I show are probably from the 1920s to 1940s. The blue BH chip is from Rich Hanover's web site. He has it listed as from the US Playing Card Co. My question is, are the two molded chips with a B and H made by other companies or did USPC make these chips for Mason and TR King? Were these inlaid letter designs exclusively the property of USPC or did many companies make chips with them? When Burt took over from USPC as the prime chip maker did they use this same alphabet on inlaid chips? What is the earliest known use of these inlaid letters? OK, that's few questions.
