Of the two... I'd pick NOD32 (www.eset.com) -- its the strongest and least obtrusive one out there. I use the free Microsoft one (www.microsoft.com/security). Its not as robust as NOD32 or the others but my behavior is not a high-risk user so the good basic protection is all I need -- behavior is 95% of the battle with spyware and anti-virus.
