...downtown casino/hotel worthy of consideration for a stay. I stayed there 2 nights last October - Halloween weekend. I requested (and got) a room overlooking Fremont. It was one of the rooms that was part of the original hotel built back in 1906. It was tiny, but they have renovated their rooms to make them modern and comfortable. The room had new furnishings including a good-sized flat panel TV and a clock radio with an iPod dock. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. ....and it is the only Vegas casino I've stayed in where the walk from my room to the casino floor took less than 60 seconds!
