Knowing full well it is an UFC after researching the illegals and California chips, do you still buy chips off of eBay? Maybe it's me, since I am new to this hobby, but I could not resist in buying this old mold Tri-Bal 3 dots and a dash made from 1929 to 1939 by Joe Treybal Sporting Goods Company, St. Louis MO. There were 17 chips in 3 denominations 25¢, 1.00, and 10.00. I guess after all is said and done at least I have 17 examples (some look very good a couple very bad) of this old mold. It might have been for a home game but I am thinking a Missouri chip back in 1929 to 1939 is probably an illegal but will be very hard to prove. Anyways the research and sometimes the find are exciting. Can't wait for these to arrive!!

I still get excited going to the mailbox each day wondering if I will get a package of chips. Does it ever wear off?
