Just returned from a trip, including Las Vegas, and experienced the new (articulated) "Ace Bus" in LV. It is like the old express bus that ran on the strip. We took the Ace Bus from the south strip to Freemont Street and it cut approximately a half hour of travel time versus the Deuce Bus. You can check online to find a route schedule. If you don't have a car, this is the way to move quickly. The driver is behind a locked panel on the bus. You just get on the Ace and sometimes he (the driver) or a spotcheck supervisor will board the bus to see if you have a pass and sometimes they don't. The rates are VERY reasonable..!
The driver does not accept cash. You have to buy a pass from a kiosk located in many locations.. Check the following website.
This is a much improved transit system over what it was a year and more ago.
