I just spoke with the main software company for the Collector's Assistant Plus program, and I have an updated date for recieving the programs. I have been told I could have the programs in my grubby little hands as soon as one week, or it could take another two weeks. I was hoping to have them by the end of April, but as you can all see, that didn't happen.

I know everyone is really excited about the new version 8, and to be honest, so am I. There are all sorts of big improvements and the program platform has been completely reworked. It now has the ability to do much more then it could before. I know, I know....you say "Terry, it did everything I wanted already, how could there be more?" Well, my friends, it's true! Besides now having many additional casino collectibles included (dice, Silver Strikes, Tokens, Slot Cards, Playing cards, room keys, etc), you can now open numerous collections at the same time. You can also easily move or copy items back and forth between the different collections. No more limitations to the number of characters in a scan file name. Completely reworked item display , large picture diplays already set up. Reports all prepared for you.....Inventory books reports already set up for you. It has never been easier then now!

As for pricing: the main software company (Carlisile Development) has decided to raise the selling price to $79.95, to be in line with the rest of their software. But fear not! I have decided to keep my pricing frozen. I know, I know.....you say: "Terry, that's just plain crazy! Why on earth would you keep the price at the same $49.95? Why wouldn't you at least raise it to $59.95, or maybe $69.95 if not $79.95 like Carlisle Development. Why would you lose all of that money in sales! " It's because I'm just plain CRAZY! You may say: "Terry, we already knew you were crazy....but why keep the price so low?" Well....it's simply because distributing this software is much more then just making as money as I can. And, yes....to roll out the new version 8, I am including the 2010 version of the Mega Chip Scan CD ( with over 15,000 chip scans). How much you ask for the Mega cd? I will include it absolutely, 100 % FREE!
