Sam's Town has been re-designated as a Coast Casino property. Even though the player reward system for Boyd is all "Bconnected", cards issued at The Orleans, Suncoast, Gold Coast and I believe Sam's Town, all have the "Club Coast" name on them and on the reverse, those four casino logos appear on the cards.

Again, that may or may not make a difference in the level of player that they wish to attract.
