A couple of weeks ago, Roy Klein posted about the Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs WV which sparked my interest having grown up around Wheeling WV and been a frequent visitor to the many illegal joints run there by Big Bill Lias. Here's Roy's post.

I have contacted the Historian at Greenbrier for any information he has and would appreciate any leads you all may know about gambling in the Region. We know clubs were there in the 1940's and 1950's with names like The Colonial Club, The Pines, Club Riviera, Sun Valley, The Brier Club, and the Chicken Shack, but know little else. Think of the UFC's around with those names and how good it would to get authentication...although those of us in Northern Kentucky would be just as happy to put the name on any chip we may have in our collection.

Anybody know more about this region?
