The problem with politics is that everyone has an opinion. There is no real defining answer to anything. Everyone can be a Monday morning quarterback. What got under my skin was the stupid remark about myself being stupid because of my membership number. If we want people to join and be a part of this great organization, remarks like that will only go to help hurting the hobby and not helping it.

Someday, my membership number of 7889 will be one that has been on for many years, and maybe at that point I will have amassed the amount of knowledge that many of you have, and I know I won't degrade anyone based on their time in the hobby, but by the knowledge they have and share with other members.

I enjoy the threads on here sometimes. There has been ocassion where I have taken another look at a position based on information shared. Politics aside, we still live in the greatest Country their is, and I just feel that at this point and time, we need to concentrate on helping ourselves, and others just a little bit less. We need to get a grip on this recession, and get our budgets in order. Thats one of the points I was trying to make, and while I don't feel that people who have unimagineable wealth should pay more, or take up where some can't, it would just seem that maybe since this country, along with their hard work, made the sucessful, and maybe they should help straighten things out.

It doesn't mean that I expect them to reach into their pockets and hand it out, but let them help bail us out in the form of management or expertise. Maybe we need to start running this Country more like a business, and less like a Charity for everyone. Thank you all again for my 3 minute platform.
