I stayed at the Aria Monday night on business. I am sure that this not typically a busy night for them. Not very many people were gambling or in any of the bars/restaurants. I ate dinner early (4:45pm) and was the only person in the Thai restaurant, except for a couple eating at the bar.

The hotel is nice, but maybe too nice. Most of the restaurants are high end establishments. Fancy menus and prices. The rooms are very nice. Lots of electronic controls for lights, curtains, etc. It took me 10 minutes to figure out how to make the TV work and I've been in high tech for 30 years. One of the people I work with rented a flip chart and got a bill for $50 rental fee + $130 to deliver it. This is about a $10 item. He should have got in a taxi and gone to an office supply store.

The whole City Center project is still in development. Lots of empty spaces waiting to be filled.
