Supporters of expanded gambling in NH will have their best chance ever this year to get a bill passed. Expanded gambling is estimated to bring in $220 million in license fees and $200 in annual revenue to the State. The plan includes a $500 million Casino at Rockingham Park (Salem) and another at Hudson. NH Speedway (Nascar) and Manchester are also vying for casinos. If passed, the new law in itself would come close to balancing the States budget. Gov Lynch is opposed to the bill as it stands now, but the Governor (known locally as flinch Lynch) has often waffled on key legislation.
