I agree, always wait till v2 for any Apple product. They have an amazing design team but being such a secretive company they do no consumer testing. When consumers get it in their hand some of the flaws, but more importantly some ways to use it that the designers never envisioned come to light.

I went over to the Palo Alto for dinner and passed by the store, so stopped in to play with one for a minute. Its pretty cool, gotta admit it, and I am sure I will have one, just not yet.

HP releases their Slate in a couple of weeks (Win7 based) with the USB port and a few other things that I would want.
