My personal opinion is you will find what's right for you & what you feel comfortabl doing......it may take a couple of goes but you will definately settle on a method that suits you.
Can't agree with Gene & the other more when they mention "Data Base". If you start from the beginning & don't look back it just mnakes your life so much easier. It does take time but if you have it then it's definately worth while.
I started out recroding everything in an axcel data base. I then bought the collectors assistant & mucked around with that for a while. In the end I found myself back using the excel databse & have used that ever since.
I'm one of the obsessive compulsives I reckon. I scan every chip & record each one in a data base. I store then in 2x2's, in 20 pocket sleevs in a bookcase in my office, sorted in alphabetical order by Country/State/casino with detail cards, ID#s etc etc etc. Big job but I find that I really enjoy keeping up my collection this way. Like I said, you will find what suits you.
