We will probably always have a few spam at the top of the message list... I have a program that wakes up every ten minutes to scan the board for spam. As a result, most users will see a handful of spam at the top that shouldn't be more than ten minutes old. Sometimes it comes in a huge wave and you might see more than a handful. If the spam is older than ten minutes old, it should be deleted manually. Otherwise, I wouldn't waste anytime deleting the message if it was posted within the last ten minutes. Hopefully those will get picked up by my application...
