but if I wasn't an LM, I don't know if I would stick around. The chips are great, the history is fun, but the draw in this hobby is the people. I have made some GREAT, great friends because of this hobby, with the start coming right here on this BB. We are different beasts, you & I; so whether we understand or agree / disagree with each other's point of view on this subject does not really matter. What I do know is what I hear & what I see. It's not my place to question why someone has opted to leave this club, but several have sited what goes on here & I have no reason to doubt it.

You've given a tremendous amount of your time & information to help grow this hobby, but I look at you as being "vested" in this hobby. Your collection is huge as are the collections of most of the "core" members. But look at it from a newbie's point of view or as someone that's been in the club for a short time. They want to grow their interest in the hobby, to be around someplace where they can ask questions or tell stories that won't get lost in the midst of all this CR@P. They may not have as much "vested" in it...so they leave. All I know, is that it does happen -- way too often.
