The BOD is always open to suggestions.

Considering that we would lose somewhere in the neighborhood of $10,000-$15,000 in admission fees without charging admission, would the 100 dealers be willing to cover those costs?

If the dealers come to an agreement that they wouldnt have a problem with adding 50% or more to table fees then we may have a workable solution.

Unfortunately I think you will find most dealers are not interested in doing that. Several people have mentioned to me that they would would gladly pay another $25-$30 in table fees to cover those costs, but as you can see that doesnt even come close to covering the shortfall.

After much consideration, the BOD agreed on the $10 a day fee (33% less than last year) with free Saturdays was the best idea for this year.

If someone can come up with a better and workable solution to help cover convention costs, we are always open to hearing them.
