At least this better explains why I'm not going to be available to do a seminar on the El Rey Club this year. ;)
I should mention here (for those visiting or living in Vegas right now) we are only doing a 4PM show at present. The second show will be added soon, once all of the promotional machines are running on all cylinders.
I'd absolutely LOVE to see some folks from the chip club come out to see the show this year. Downtown Vegas may be a hike from the South Point, but it is still among the best places to see when in Las Vegas, especially if you're looking for better prices on food, gaming, rooms, & shows. Speaking of shows...
Here is some info about tickets to the show...
___________________________________________________
Generally tickets are available through the www.FourQueens.com site, www.Vegas.com, and the 1/2 Price ticket booths throughout the city. They run on average between $20-$30 per. There are other options...
* We have these yellow tickets we pass out in front of the casino that admit two people free of charge (there is a one-drink minimum per person, paid in advance at the door). I could provide a big stack of them to give to people as they are admitted to the convention, setting up their booths, etc.. Just give me an estimate as to how many you'd need and I'll gather up what I can.
* If there were a group coming out from the show you could simply email Joaquin, the show's producer, at joaquin_777@yahoo.com and he'd take care of arrangements for a group outing (great prices, etc), especially if you let him know I sent you.
* For the super-cheap of the bunch (LOL) I would call Jay (one of our promoters) at 702-287-0915 and request comp tickets. The hotel actually charges a $4.00 service charge for these, but there's no drink minimum (pay for drinks on your own if you'd like) and nobody is seeing a Vegas show for less than $4.00 these days!
If you wanted things to promote for the convention, I could try to arrange a block of VIP or Producer's comps (no service charge) that can be raffled or auctioned off. Joaquin would be the best person to contact for something like that.
There is a great option for people to see the show without leaving your general vicinity. We offer a dinner show at the Bootlegger Bistro (just down the street from South Point) for private groups of 50 or more. EXCELLENT four course Italian meal and a 45-minute show. The headliners come directly to you! That of course would require booking yourself or advance booking through the club. Info about the show can be found at www.magicalvegasshow.com and booking that special show can be done by calling...

Hope there's at least one cool option there for you and the club. I'd love to see a bunch of chip collectors there!
