Perhaps I'm missing something here . Employees presently in most cases pay for health care costs to begin with aside from those lucky enough to have insurance.
I question why we need a system which it appears has not worked effectively in Canada, Sweden or elsewhere it seems to me as perhaps more of a left handed system to give illegals health care at government expense (our expense).
If in fact that is the case, let the Hospitals and Doctors bill the government directly and not shove something down our throats.

Things that trouble me are,
that few if any understand the legislation
All sorts of back room deals were made to pass this in the first place
Members of Congress opted out of it
There is no provision to recind this once it's law
and mostly aside from the fact that it seems not to work elswhere, we can't afford it
