totally different matters. Rush Limbaugh failed on TV after 4 years simply because the ratings weren't there. When he started in 1992 he had initial ratings of 6-7. When he cancelled the show his ratings were only 2.5. And yes, I believe a major influence on his ratings was his persona was not seen as genuine.

Now, as to Air Americas demise. This had nothing to do with personalities. It was pure economics. National and local revenues for radio ads and funding have been down for nearly 3 years (-21% in 2009 alone)Air America was a victim of the economy.

I you have an opposing opinion that is your right. But, at least think it through first. And yes, I still believe I told it as it is.
