It is well known how Fran and Pascoal has grown from one man to 5 or 6 warm bodies together - to nurture the chipping hobbies.
Last week Archie was able to pick up 3 new members in the US - the foreign casinos in countries that I included for the incentives has untapped resources for everybody who collect chips, they are right there with their casinos - no matter how small and dilapidated their "casinos" are they are still casinos, one casino in Ukraine was described the Institute of Arts from a university who studied buildings and facades of casino in that country - as like a "funeral parlor" - really it look very similar in my point of view - I got a chip from there.
The sooner we tap them into the chipping hobby the better for the general membership. What you and David Spraag are doing in England are very laudable and commendable. Both your websites serves as a beacon to a "lost soul" - metaphorically - chip ID's and constant source of reference.
Frank of the Casino Collectible was telling a group of us in his store - "nobody is buying chips anymore", we went out to lunch I was in a pensive mood - quite not my usual - thinking of the implications to the chipping hobby what he said.
As I told Archie of my plan to giveaway all my collections to the public - and Archie's way is the right way - incentives for membership, stretching one arm to the international readers won't cost as much - there are three foreign collectors that I have been sending 60 LE, 80 ($1) and different quantities now and then, that eventually will come into the club, hopefully.
I will be posting recruitment incentives - giving all my UK collections, the Spain collection, all the Caribbean, and everything else in my permanent collection. This will be my final phase of "phasing out". Right now these chips that are being offered are just my dupes.
There are more to go, as I phase and thin out.
