The French sure did their part in getting it moving.

It's almost 4-inches wide and unusually thick for a pearl (w/ razor-sharp square edge; nick-free; fully-pigmented, throughout).

At first I thought the seller was showing two different pieces because of the serial numbers, but it turns out to be a 3/5 serial number. Not too many French pieces I know of with two differnt numbers on obv/rev.

I think the monogram is CTP... and I think the piece might be unfinished since there is no text within the bannerette... nor denom on the fold.
