Yes, "We will see"
In Response To: Archie????We will see ()

Ron; The "large A.C. union" you refer to does not represent the building trades. Unions representing electricians, plumbers, pipefitters, iron workers, carpenters, masons, painters, heating/air-conditioning would all be put to work on this huge project during this period of area high unemployment. The building trades don't agree with McDevitt. McDevitt has his own personal agenda that is in conflict with his membership. One would think that McDevitt would welcome the opportunity to add thousands of potential new members into his hotel & restaurant employees union should Revel be completed.

Talk about 'stimulating the economy' ... here's a good example. When Sheraton was built ... it received tax incentive breaks from the city. When Borgata was built they recieved the land for practically nothing as an incentive. When the Brigantine Connector was built ... Trump demanded and received special considerations for an exit off the bridge to his property. I don't see any difference. By the way, I think I read that the Revel tax-break is spread over 20 years, not 10, as I previously reported.

Yes, I'm optimistic about A.C.'s future. I'm not ready to lower the casket into the ground on the second largest gaming juristiction in the country. Everything can't be just like Las Vegas. I also think that our newly elected Governor Christie will have much to say and do about Atlantic City's future.
