Every so often I pick up postcards at antique malls and I got these 2 over the weekend. I'm guessing that the first postcards of the Western Village predates the casino (no comment about the casino on the other side of the postcard).

The second cards show downtown looking from the East of Fremont Street looking to the West (for some reason most of the postcards I own were taken from the West end of downtown. I'm guessing the white building at the end of the street is the train station? So did Skaggs Drug have casino chips The other odd thing about the bottom postcard.....the young lady to the left of the stop light is wearing very short shorts for the 50's (it might be a swimsuit). The man next to her is in a jacket an tie.
