South Shore has a couple casinos and Heavenly Valley (Gondola).
North Shore has the infamous Cal-Neva Casino, not to be confused with Reno's Cal Neva Casino.
You can stand in two states in the same time.
You can also go via Mt. Rose.
Plan your driving well. Snow storms at the lake can trap you in. The snow usually melts in the Carson Valley where Reno and CC are.
