Atlantic City Experience Good/Bad - Vent!

I had a similar thing happen to me with Trump last winter.

I recieved a card in the mail in December saying I had $130 comp dollars that were going to expire and I didn't think I was was going to be able to use them. First we had plans to use them the weekend we got the first of many snow storms right before xmas, couldn't make it down there. I called Trump Plaza where I accumulated the points and asked if they could give me an extra month to use them. Otherwise we were going to be forced to try and fit it in between xmas and NY and it was going to be difficult and unenjoyable. She explained they usually don't have such a policy, but was kind enough to go through the extra effort to extend the points for me. I took her name down and they actually messed up the extension and I had to call her back to get it straightened out again. I "think" the points are there, but haven't checked. She was smart enough to put my name and information in the system the first time so she was able to track down quickly why the extension didn't go through the first time. It is rare these days when you get someone that actually knows you can use computers for things like this, other than giving you a flippant response like it's not my fault, it's the computer's fault. Which brings me to...

Since one of the Harrah's properties F'd me over on Valentine's Day/Night when they were unable to find my reservation in their worthless computer system and they chose to put an incompotent worthless POS in charge on a 3 holiday evening(Valentine's Day, Chinese NY and President's Day Weekend), claiming they didn't have a room to give us, causing us to spend Valentine's Night driving home in a car for 90 minutes after standing there and "discussing" their Royale Botch Job for over an hour, being insulted with stupid comments like, "Do you know there are 4 Harrah's properties in Atlantic City?" and "Could you have perhaps booked the room at another casino" and "TELLING ME, to call the reservations number to check on my reservation" and "asking me to call my bank at 8:00 PM on a Sunday to check on the credit card reservation" and so on and so on....With both of us working and kids, it takes a fair amount of planning and good luck to make everything work out and we had dinner, the hotel room, and guests at the Foundation Room with the Girls from Burlesque X in Vegas all shot down the drain because of a moron and a host that was even more insulting than the dumb a$$ Hotel Supervisor for the night.

I will probably not gamble in at least ONE of the Harrah's properties again and try my luck with Trump Plaza where they made the extra effort to help as opposed to making the extra effort to push me away.

So..............as suggested, you might want to call a host during the day and ask for some help and hope you get an understanding person like I did at Trump Plaza and not a person that chooses to do nothing but push the company policy.
