The only sounds heard here are the wind and the sirens of emergency vehicles.
The lights have flickered numerous times and thus far high up on the hill here we have been spared from most of the carnage...thus far at least. Though water is coming in from under the sliding door on the terrace all else is well.
I consider myself very fortunate compared to what many must be going through.
Looking at the weather map and A/C power and light's site, up to 25% of the homes in several communities down south around A/C are without power.
As bad as it might be in some areas it's still better than snow.
