Coming in June ...

At this year's Annual CCGTCC Convention I will be doing a seminar titled "Pirates of the Caribbean". At each convention there is theme for the banquet. This year's theme is Pirates. Meaning that if you want to get into the spirit of the banquet, you should dress something appropriate for a Pirate. So I fully expect that everyone attending the banquet will be appropriately attired in a Pirate outfit. There is an award for the best dressed.

When I had the opportunity to do a seminar at the convention, I decided to use the banquet theme and thus the title "Pirates of the Caribbean". The presentation will be about the Mob creating the Caribbean Casino industry, much in the same way that they did in Las Vegas. They weren't the ones to start things off, but they saw a good thing the managed to take over. I guess they made an offer that couldn't be refused.

I've been doing a lot of research and I am amazed at how much information is out there about a group who preferred to keep things quiet. If you have any information to share, I would love to make it part of the presentation. I'm interested in connected guys, casino names and dates (if available). Personal stories can be very valuable in this kind of research. I'll let you know that so far I know of mob casino activity in: Cuba, Bahamas, Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Suriname, Jamaica, Antigua, Haiti, St. Maarten and Puerto Rico. And I'm sure that there is more. So send me an email if you haven't something to share. Contributors will be recognized. Thanks.
