I was looking through a Dale Seymour Coded old poker chip project a bunch of us antique chip collectors are working on. I noticed a few different samples of this molded chip type from several chip distributors/makers. Question is, were these chips actually made by all three companies or did West Sales and Hackney Novelty merely sell Hunt Co. chips? I have never seen this type of chip from bars or casinos in the South or East coast, has anyone seen them from places other than the Northwest or California? The Hackney Novelty Co. and New Elliot Tavern on Jackson St/Ave seem awfully coincidental with that Jackson connection. Is anyone familiar with Minneapolis streets? Is the New Elliot Tavern possibly a Minnesota chip?
