There are some corrections that will be made in time Rich but right now our main focus is to get the chip scans assembled. There are some coded chips that have been IDed since Dale's 1998 revised edition and we are making notes of them and eventually we will deal with them either by notation or they might be deleted. Dale has been sending me boxes of materials from the assembly of his books. At this point in time, Dale is the only person that has the authority to delete any codes. Ralph Strandwold is the only person that has the authority to add any new codes. Mick Cuddy, Roy Klein, Jim Garrard, Jim Myers, and myself, are at this point in time only making suggestions about new codes. Plans for the future of our Antique Chip Collecting hobby have been presented to Dale and Ralph. Eventually, an Antique Chip review board will be created to consider chips offered up as possible NEW CODES and other corrections to guarantee the integrity of our hobby. The beginning stages of this will take place at the 2010 convention on Friday evening at 7PM in the same room as the trade session. Ralph will be there to assign new codes and it is uncertain at this time if Dale will be attending the convention. A formal anouncement of the event should be in the next club magazine. I hope to see you at the 1st Antique Chip Code Session.
