I am certainly not the attributor. Henry Garrett and Avee Heifetz certainyly belive it to be Cuba. Luis Alvarez, who is writing a book on Cuban chips, might be one to ask. Luis has never indicated to me any place other than Cuba (although maybe he wants to surprise me when the book is published). Actually none of the big collectors have ever stated to me a problem with the attribution.

Again, I can't comment myself on the attribution.

BTW, I have never seen a c&s from France.
