Back about 30 years ago, I worked for a construction company based out of the San Francisco Bay area. Every year, they would send their management-type people to a place outside of Redwood City for a few days of bonding, drinking, poker, seminars & drinking. The setting was several hundred yards off the road, but if you didn't know it was there, you would never see it. It had a main house that had bigger meeting rooms & a main kitchen and a bunch of smaller out-buildings with up to ten beds per building (reminded me of a boy scout camp). This place was surrounded by beautiful old trees & was so quiet, day & night. On one wall in the main building was that picture / emblem...surrounded by many, MANY other older pictures & paintings of men doing skits & vaudeville-type plays. This place had been around for quite some time & was an exclusive Bay Area men's club called -- "The Family Farm".
Everytime I see that chip (or one similar), it brings back memories of some really great times. Thanks, Smitty!!
