Just out of curiosity, where do you live and/or fish up there? I am in San Diego now but grew up in Puyallup. I spent many a day out on the sound cruising from the Narrows up around Vashon Island. My buddy had grandparents in Gig Harbor and Brown's point so we'd stay at either of their places during High School to be on the water that much earlier on the weekends.

Also, when I was a kid I remember the bowling alley in Puyallup had a smoky back room with people playing cards but I can't find a mention of any legitimate poker room being in town in any of the guides I've searched in. Any idea if this room was legit and if chips exist? This would have been in the 1980's.
