While I have said before I have always bought American vehicles and in most probability will continue to do so, I feel that the Toyota situation was and still is a witch hunt to discredit them.

Now with GM having to recall 1.3 million vehicles I wonder how long that will stay in the headlines?
Will they now look under every rock to find further problems?
Will the President of GM be asked to come before congress to testify.

Well, for that matter will our President who now feels the US government owns GM be asked to testify, explain and apologize to the public for the defects in their cars?

Just a passing thought.....
