I had thought that the Sal Sagev became the Golden Gate. But I have seen many pictures that show both the Sal Sagev signage as well as the Golden Gate Hotel famous revolving sign at the same time.

At one time was the Sal Sagev considered the casino, and the Golden Gate the hotel? or vice-versa? Or did the Golden Gate keep the Sal Sagev signage for a little while when they took over the property?
