When we stopped going to the Marina, we started staying at the Tropicana. I remember seeing the hugh antenna farm on the South side of the Marina. The Marina was really big on sports and races and back then the satellite services had antenna dishes that could rival NASA or several military locations (which spawned the term "antenna farms") and the Marina must of had two dishes per channel, which may have been per sattelite back then!
Just as indicated by Steve Bedo, the West end of the Marina remains the skeletal steel structure of the MGM Grand!
Sure wish that I played the tables back then and not the nickel slots!
