~~~ decided to order a "JVB" plate (back then in NY you had a front and rear plate) and when I got the plates they were "JVB 70" which was quite cool; initial and year of the car. Kept the car for only a year (it leaked water under the doors and Jag said it's supposed to 
).... anyway, came to FL in '72 and decided to put one of the plates on the front of my new car while my FL plate (they call them "tags" down here) was on the rear. Got stopped by FHP and asked to remove the "tag" right then and there.
