I grew up on the Island on Long and I used to get up to 20 bucks a driveway for shovelling in those days. I used to PRAY for snow, and there were always several good snowstorms every winter.

The weather's changed, though, and I figured if I can't make money shovelling snow, I may as well move to where it's warmer. This morning as I drove to work on the Pacific Coast Highway, the sun was glinting off of the waves and the surfers were out in force. Another lovely day in SoCal.
