Perhaps the 12 million vehicle recall was on the front page. Frankly I don't remember. If it was, it didn't stay there long. I do recall a whole hulabaloo about Firestone tires many years ago. If this was the case again in 2008, perhaps they are the ones to be investigated but I certainly haven't heard anything in regards to that.

In regards to Toyota, I then have to ask are they the only ones that have design problems? Are they the only ones with faulty vehicles? Is their Engineering that faulty?

Why then aren't we looking at Nissan, Dihatsu, Kia, Honda, Daewoo, Hino Trucks, Subaru and all the other far eastern auto builders?
Am I to believe that Toyota is the only one with defects?
