When I first started collecting I picked up over 200 $1 tokens to put in a bar top. Then I found chips, which looked so much better and gave up on the token idea. No I didn't put the chips on the bar top. Later when I went back to Las Vegas I started using the tokens to get some cash back. Most of them would go thru machines in one or two casinos but some just wouldn't work. I was in the Mirage and had put a few tokens in and a few dropped out. Very quickly I had a slot floor person next to me asking what I was doing. She had heard the token drop in the tray and knew from the sound that they weren;t their tokens. Made a quick excuse and left.
